We are bringing a series of Grief Retreats and Grief + Psychodrama Intensives to Europe in September and October 2027. Our dates are set, and we are currently seeking hosts and venues for several of these offerings.
If you would like to host us, invite us to your community, or recommend a venue, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for spaces that can accommodate up to 35 people for cathartic emotional work, including loud drumming and vocal expression. We prefer venues with lodging available for participants, though we are also open to spaces without lodging. We’ll need the ability to provide meals through either on-site catering or an outside caterer.

Reciprocity
Each grief ritual includes a tithe to the Water Reciprocity Fund through The Sonder Project, supporting sustainable clean water for Dagara communities in and around Dano, Burkina Faso. This is one small practice of reciprocity: allowing something tangible to flow back toward the communities from which the grief ritual carried by Sobonfu and Malidoma Somé came.
Those who feel able or called are also welcome to offer additional reciprocity directly to the fund.
